Hi, I'm Kim! I'm here to help you buy or sell your home.
I grew up in Southern California but discovered my true passion after moving to Utah nearly a decade ago. The stunning mountains and outdoor activities captured my heart, and I fell in love with Utah's natural beauty. With a background in marketing, sales, and small business consulting, I’ve developed a strong eye for design—everything from fonts to home aesthetics.
My interest in real estate really took off as I spent time browsing homes and checking out interior design ideas on Pinterest. Having benefited from the VA loan through my husband’s service in the Marine Corps, I know firsthand how valuable this tool is for veterans looking to find their dream homes. I love helping veterans navigate the home-buying process and make the most of their benefits.
As a homeowner in Salt Lake City and a rental property owner in San Diego, I understand the benefits of rental income and how it can help build equity for the future. I'm passionate about assisting others in purchasing rental properties in Utah, whether for retirement, passive income, or equity growth.
I’m licensed with the Salt Lake City Board and work with the fantastic team at Ivie Avenue Real Estate. Together, we focus on providing top-notch service, and I’m proud to say I've maintained a 100% satisfaction rate. My clients describe me as reliable, organized, and enjoyable to work with.
I’m dedicated to negotiating great deals for my clients. For instance, my recent buyers got their home in Millcreek for over 10% off the listing price with minimal closing costs thanks to seller concessions.
While I’m ready to assist anyone buying or selling in Salt Lake County, I especially love working with out-of-state buyers eager to call Utah home and veterans searching for their ideal space. Living in Salt Lake City has been a dream for me, with its lively restaurant scene, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of dog-friendly trails and parks. It truly is a perfect spot for this elder millennial!
Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, an experienced investor, or looking for a fresh start in Utah, I’m here to help you achieve your real estate goals. Let’s team up to find the perfect property that fits your needs and exceeds your expectations!
Utah is beautiful, I support policies that conserve wild spaces! I am an advocate for the conservation of public lands, including Bears Ears National Monument, and Grand Staircase Escalante. I believe you should leave places better than you found them, and follow Leave No Trace principles when I am enjoying our local national forests, BLM land, or other public spaces.
Acquiring a Down Payment for Your Home Purchase

The recent National Association of Realtors (NAR) lawsuit has the potential to impact Utah homebuyers and sellers in a few key ways:
The lawsuit has made adjustments to how commissions are handled, particularly the practice of the seller covering the full buyer's agent commission. Buyers and sellers should ask their agents what their fees are and what that includes (these are all negotiable). A great buyer's agent will try to get all or a portion of their fees paid for by the selller during the transaction (AS of September 2024 - this is still common practice). Some new forms are established that will spell out ways you can pay your agent's fee. Please remmeber that agents have your best interest and a fiduciary duty to you during this transaction. Be warned that trying to save money by skipping getting an agent could cost you in the long run in the deal or in missing deadlines and losing your earnest money.
With potential changes to how commissions are disclosed, buyers and sellers should have clearer information about what they’re paying. This can lead to more informed decisions during the buying or selling process.
If commissions become more flexible, it could lead to new pricing models and increased competition among agents, which might benefit consumers by lowering costs or improving service.
As the market adjusts to these changes, both buyers and sellers may need to navigate a different landscape. This could influence pricing strategies and negotiation tactics.
Homebuyers and sellers should consider consulting with real estate professionals who understand the implications of these changes. They can provide valuable insights and help navigate any new processes that arise.
Overall, while the lawsuit may introduce some uncertainties, it also offers an opportunity for buyers and sellers to benefit from a more transparent and competitive market. Staying informed and seeking expert advice will be key to making the best decisions moving forward.
